Code of Conduct

Atlassian's Partner Programs have grown to be a community filled with great partners. As our programs grow, so does the need to establish a standard Code of Conduct among the Partner community.

Applicability

This Code of Conduct applies to you as an Atlassian Partner and to all of your employees and representatives. This Code of Conduct outlines the ethical and professional standards that need to be adhered to when conducting business with and for Atlassian. Adherence to this Code of Conduct is a requirement under the Atlassian Agreement your company signed to become an Atlassian Partner, which governs the business relationship between Atlassian and each Partner. Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct could lead to suspension or termination of the Agreement.

Atlassian Values

As our Atlassian Partners are aware, Atlassian strives to uphold our values to help guide our company's behavior. Our values strongly influence how we build our ecosystem and recruit Atlassian Partners.

No False or Misleading Statements

Atlassian Partners have a responsibility to treat their customers and Atlassian customers fairly. An Atlassian Partner should not disseminate false, inaccurate, or misleading information. Atlassian Partners also may not give bribes and/or inappropriate gifts to obtain or retain business or to influence decisions, or enter into any behavior that would be considered unethical, or would give the appearance of impropriety.

Fair Competition

Atlassian Partners have a responsibility to not enter into any agreement with competitors to fix prices, margins, or terms and conditions.

No Disparagement

Atlassian Partners have a responsibility to treat competitors, other Partners, and Atlassian in an ethical manner. Atlassian Partners should communicate with competitors, other Partners, and Atlassian honestly and never defame, slander or disparage them.

Trademarks, Intellectual Property, and Confidential Information

Atlassian Partners must follow Atlassian's trademark and branding guidelines only as specified in their Atlassian Agreement. Atlassian Partners may not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of Atlassian or anyone else. Atlassian Partners must also abide by their confidentiality obligations to Atlassian and others to whom they have such obligations.

Other Standards

Social Media

Social media is an integral part of Atlassian business and we are well aware that our Atlassian Partners incorporate it into their businesses as well. Atlassian Partners should understand their presence in social media, as well as the potential repercussions if this power is misused or mishandled. When in doubt, Atlassian Partners should refer to the Silver Rule, "Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you."

Atlassian Partners shall not publish malicious, misleading or unfair content about other Partners, their clients, competitors, Atlassian Employees or Atlassian as an entity.

If negative comments are necessary, Atlassian Partners always ensure that any criticism is backed up with solid evidence.

Labor Standards

Atlassian Partners should provide their employees with a safe work environment free of coercion, discrimination, and harassment. They should treat their own employees fairly in accordance with local laws and regulations regarding labor and employment.

Environment Standards

Atlassian Partners are expected to conduct their businesses in ways that are environmentally responsible and in accordance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards.

Human Rights

Atlassian Partners respect each individual's human rights and shall never discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, social status, family origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation, nor will they commit other violations of human rights. Such discrimination will not be tolerated. Atlassian Partners will uphold human rights in all that their business does, and as such, will not tolerate the discrimination in others. Atlassian Partners will not accept ignorance and inaction as an excuse for any type of discrimination.

Reporting Violations

Atlassian is available to any questions you may have around business conduct and ethics. If you think there are, or are aware of, any wrongdoings of an Atlassian Partner or your own company, you can report the incident to the Atlassian Channel Programs Team. These reports will be handled as confidentially as possible.
